Security
A security guard, contracted through the North Lakeside Cultural Center, is required for an event with 50 or more people and/or if alcoholic beverages are being served.  If two floors are rented, each floor needs one security guard.  The rate is $100 per  guard. Two guards are required.
Rental Deposits
A Non-refundable Deposit of 50% of the total rental cost is due in order to reserve the space.  A refundable Damage Deposit equal to the total rental cost is required in order to cover possible damages.  Both the Non-refundable Deposit and the Damage Deposit are due 15 days before the event.  The Damage Deposit, less any costs for repair or replacement, will be refunded within 15 days following the event.
Parking
Parking arrangements must be made separately.  The parking lot of The Sacred Heart School, directly across Sheridan Road from the Cultural Center, may be rented out for $5 per parking space, and accommodates up to 40 cars.  For more information on arranging parking, please contact John at 773.262.4446. 
Venue Information
  • There is a maximum of 250 people allowed inside the building.
  • No smoking is allowed within the building.
  • A handicap lift is available on the first floor.
  • There are two washrooms on the first floor, with one washroom on the second floor.
  • The grand piano is available for a $70 tuning charge.
  • The kitchen has a household sized refrigerator, an electric stove, and ample counter space.
